Fluoropolymer lined metal pipes and fittings
Fluoropolymer lined metal pipes and fittings are engineered to deliver reliable, corrosion-resistant performance in demanding industrial environments. These systems combine the chemical resistance of high-performance fluoropolymers such as PTFE, PFA, FEP, and PVDF with the strength and durability of carbon steel or stainless steel.
They are ideal for transporting aggressive chemicals, corrosive media, and ultra-pure fluids in industries ranging from chemical processing and pharmaceuticals to water treatment and high-purity systems. The fluoropolymer liner acts as a barrier, providing superior chemical compatibility, while the metallic outer shell offers high mechanical strength, pressure tolerance, and extended service life.
Aggressive substances like Sulphuric acid, hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), and strong acids can severely corrode carbon steel and even stainless steel systems over time. Without protection, such corrosion can lead to leaks, contamination, or complete system failure. This is where fluoropolymer liners, especially PTFE and PFA, are essential—they are highly inert and resistant to nearly all corrosive chemicals, making them the preferred choice for lining piping components. The result is a safe, leak-free, and long-lasting system that requires minimal maintenance.
We offer lined pipes and fittings in sizes from 1” to 24”, conforming to ANSI Class 150, Class 300, and DIN standards. Both standard and custom configurations are available, with many sizes stocked for fast delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
These are carbon or stainless steel pipes and fittings internally lined with fluoropolymers (e.g., PTFE, PFA), providing chemical resistance and structural strength for fluid handling in corrosive environments.
Typical industries include:
Chemical & Petrochemical
Pharmaceuticals & Biotechnology
Water & Wastewater Treatment
Food & Beverage
Semiconductor / High Purity Systems
PTFE and PFA are extremely resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, solvents, and gases like chlorine and H₂S, which can corrode steel. Lining with these fluoropolymers prevents system failure due to corrosion.
Fluoropolymer lined metal systems provide higher mechanical strength and better pressure/temperature capabilities than plastic or FRP systems, while still offering top-tier chemical resistance.
The design ensures durability under full vacuum and high-pressure conditions with secure liner anchoring.
We offer complete customization including spools, elbows, reducers, jacketed pipes, vented nozzles, and more.
Absolutely. With suitable external coatings on the metal shell, these systems are ideal for outdoor and UV-exposed environments.
